Marino (Rm) – E' un momento di stagione importante per l'Under 14 femminile del Marino Pallavolo. Le ragazze di coach Marco Di Lucca sono al secondo posto in classifica a due sole lunghezze dal Volley School Aprilia capolista. Il calendario, domenica prossima, offre una ghiotta occasione alle giovani marinesi che sfideranno proprio la prima della classe tra le mura amiche:
"Sappiamo bene che è una partita importante – dice il centrale classe 2010 Matilde Persi – Loro sono una squadra forte e all'andata, nonostante avessimo vinto il primo set, ci hanno rimontato e battuto per 3-1. Quella è stata l'unica sconfitta stagionale per il nostro gruppo che ha vinto le altre tredici partite. Siamo fiduciose di poter fare nostra la gara di domenica e di volare al primo posto, ne abbiamo tutte le capacità. È chiaro che c'è tensione perché mancano tre partite alla fine della stagione regolare e sappiamo quanto conta questa partita, ma grazie al coach e alla società questo gruppo è cresciuto tanto e vuole dimostrare di essere forte".
Nell'ultimo turno l'Under 14 femminile del Marino Pallavolo ha superato agevolmente la Volley Academy Pomezia con un rotondo 3-0 esterno:
"Nel primo set non siamo state brillanti e le avversarie ci hanno messo in difficoltà – racconta la Persi – Alla fine, comunque, siamo riuscite a spuntarla e gli altri due set li abbiamo vinti in modo più netto".
La giovanissima centrale ha cominciato a giocare a pallavolo sette anni fa:
"Sono marinese ed è stato naturale iniziare in questa società, da allora non ho più cambiato e questa ormai è una seconda casa per me. La scelta di avvicinarmi a questo sport è stata mia anche se pure mia mamma Antonella e la mia sorella maggiore Flaminia (che ha militato al Marino Pallavolo) sono state atlete. Col gruppo attuale dell'Under 14 giochiamo insieme da due anni, la scorsa stagione siamo arrivate agli ottavi del tabellone Under 13, ma quest'anno possiamo fare meglio: l'obiettivo è rientrare almeno tra le prime quattro della categoria".
Sta entrando nel vivo la stagione dell'Under 15 maschile del Marino Pallavolo. I ragazzi di coach Stefano Vazzana affronteranno nel week-end il Santa Monica per la semifinale d'andata del tabellone territoriale.
Una stagione di crescita costante. Serena Segala, tecnico dell'Under 13 e dell'Under 17 maschili del Volley Club Frascati, parla con soddisfazione dei progressi dei gruppi che contano su tanti ragazzi che si sono avvicinati da poco al mondo della pallavolo.
